White & Black supports Ajinomoto with strategic trade marks acquisition

White & Black has recently supported Ajinomoto Co., Inc., a major Japanese food products producer, on a strategic mandate relating to the acquisition of a high-value portfolio of trade marks for coffee and tea brands that are famous in the Japanese market, including the “Blendy” and “Maxim” coffee ranges.

The trademarks were previously used under licence by Ajinomoto General Foods, Inc., an Ajinomoto group company. The seller was a group company of Jacobs Douwe Egberts B.V., the €5 billion turnover Europe-based leading global coffee company.
