Roxanne Selby
Senior Associate
Roxanne Selby is a Senior Associate specialising in commercial dispute resolution and litigation. She acts for claimants and defendants across a wide variety of industry sectors. She has a particular focus on IP, IT, and technology-related disputes.
Roxanne takes a pragmatic, practical approach and aims to provide solutions to complex problems in a speedy, cost-effective way. She has experience of a wide variety of commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, IP disputes, and team moves and breach of restrictive covenants. Roxanne also has experience of alternative dispute resolution and encourages settlement outside court where possible.
Prior to joining White & Black in 2023, Roxanne worked at a firm in Reading, after qualifying at a large national firm in Oxford. She has a MA(Oxon.) in Classics & English from Trinity College Oxford, and an MBA from the University of Melbourne (via U-21). Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, she worked for many years in legal publishing, where she focused on product development and digital and market strategy.
Roxanne works within our Litigation and Disputes Team. Our disputes team undertakes commercial litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. As much of our work is for technology-enabled businesses, we have developed particular experience of disputes over intellectual property, both hard and soft, data privacy and disputes arising from M&A, venture capital and private equity deals.
