White & Black advise Intertronics on the Acquisition of Dyne Testing

Our top-ranking Corporate Team recently advised leading adhesive and adhesive system specialist Intertronics on the purchase of Dyne Testing Ltd, a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of surface measurement technology.

Intertronics acquires Dyne Testing Ltd

Intertronics supplies adhesives, coatings, sealants and equipment to customers with high-technology, high-performance assembly applications. Intertronics customers span industries such as electronics, medical devices, plastics, optical, automotive, energy, defence and aerospace.

Dyne Testing offers a range of measurement equipment for testing surface energy and tension, surface cleanliness, adhesion, and coating thickness, to improve quality and process control in various industrial applications.

This aligns with Intertronics’ existing business, which includes supplying surface treatment technologies that alter the energy of a substrate and remove contaminants to improve adhesion.

Speaking about the deal, Intertronics Managing Director, Peter Swanson said: White & Black provided expert and pragmatic advice throughout the process. This was our first deal, and the team were also brilliant at handling our inevitable anxieties and frustrations. Highly recommended.

Laura Sinoplu, Associate for White & Black, commented: Working with Peter and the Intertronics team on this transaction was a pleasure. The acquisition aligns perfectly with Intertronics’ existing business and, together with an exceptional management team, will allow the business to further strengthen its position as a leader in the field.  It’s a hugely exciting opportunity for both Intertronics and Dyne Testing, and we wish Peter and the team the very best in this new chapter.
