Growth and Maximising Value – Corporate Practice Highlights 24
Growing your business? Maximising your growth?
2024 was another very strong year for our top-ranking Corporate Team, successfully advising a diverse range of clients and ensuring they continue to achieve growth and maximise their value.
Commenting on 2024, Corporate Partner Jonathan Williamson said: 2024 was another exciting year for the team as we continued to solidify our growth with a very high number of quality transactions. Whilst it was pleasing to receive recognition for our practice, not least through our listing in the Times Top 250 Law Firms (Top 30 in the UK for Company and Commercial Law) and Top Rankings in Chambers & Legal 500 – seeing our clients successfully achieve growth and maximise their value is what is most satisfying for our team. Most pleasing of all is that 60% of deals in 2024 came from new clients, in sectors ranging from Med-Tech to Food & Drink. We continue to advise many long-standing clients on their ongoing buy-and-build strategies and with a further 9 cross-border transactions our international presence continues to go from strength to strength. The pipeline for 2025 is already full of secured instructions, new clients and exciting conversations.
Highlights include our growing international reach and our inclusion in The Times top 250 law firms. You can find more below.
Corporate transactional work is the largest area of our practice, with deals ranging from £1m to £750m, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, joint ventures, corporate governance, and banking involving high growth and pure technology companies. We guide our clients through every aspect, through to post-deal integration.
